Wow. So much fun shooting just beneath Proxy Falls. It was difficult for me to entirely capture the 200ft plus cascade so with this photo I only included the bottom part of it's beautifully cascading strands amongst all the wonderful moss-covered rocks and trees. The red maple leaves? Yes, I placed them there. I'm a girl. Call it decorating. ;-) A fellow photog friend let me borrow a few as he had a pocketful he'd gathered from the hike in. Which, by the way, was a beautiful walk and had us stopping many times along the way taking in the autumn colors and tiny mushrooms and other fairytale forest scenes. Truly a special place.
